Photo Styling

Laurie began styling editorial photo shoots for Working Woman magazine, where her keen eye helped dress and accessorize high profile women in a series called “One Woman Style.”  Her styling skills evolved when she worked marketing campaigns for DeBeers, Fred Joaillier, Swatch Watch and Ethan Allen.  She took it to another level when she consulted as a photo stylist for Mayo Studios designing sets and vignettes for many interior design companies including Macy’s, Simon Pearce, Kravet, Jonathan Adler and 

Laurie combines all of this experience as a seasoned stylist into her ongoing role as a leading interior designer.  Whether creating an intimate moment or a sweeping gesture, Laurie ensure’s the entire space works together. 



Staging

Laurie has spent over 15 years styling luxury properties, primarily in Manhattan, helping to facilitate the sale of more than $50 million in real estate within one of the world’s most competitive markets. She has also served as a senior design consultant for both Anne Kenney Associates and Vesta Home.

While Laurie will no longer be providing full-service staging with rental furniture, she continues to offer consulting services. Her expertise includes refining spaces with minor edits and enhancements, staging using clients’ existing furnishings supplemented with select purchased pieces, styling for photo shoots (including florals), estate clean-outs, and executing interior design projects of any scale.

‍ ‍Laurie’s love of global design—defined by deep, saturated colors and rich patterns found in textiles, art, and architecture—was sparked during a transformative trip to South Africa in her early twenties. That early inspiration grew into a lifelong passion as she traveled to countries like Russia, Israel, England, Ireland,, Sweden, France, Belize, Mexico and Italy as well as a sailing adventure around the Caribbean, each offering its own vibrant history of artisanal craftsmanship.
